What are tech transfers?
In the cosmetic industry tech transfer is the industry term for moving formulas and production from one manufacturer to another. The manufacturer you start off producing your brand with often is not the one you end up producing with at scale, and eventually distribution scale matters so having a manufacturer located in a central city can cut substantial transport costs and produce efficiences.

Our boutique approach ensures we can custom to your requirements including reverse engineering formulations where complete formulations are not available.
Each and every product requires precision care and manufacturing reliability and this is what we proudly deliver to every one of our valued customers.
How long does a tech transfer normally take?
A tech transfer normally takes four to six months. If complete formulary is available and depending on the product sometimes this process can be shorter. We will actively work with you to ensure a seamless transfer. Established brands often find it helps to setup an initial meeting to have a one on one conversation so that both parties have a mutual understanding of the requirements before notifying the previous parties. In most cases it is a staged process and something we common do for brands as they outgrow their existing facilities and need someone to help them scale for larger distribution.
A handy note is that our MOQs are normally 5000 units depending on the product being made.
